Creating Compelling Volunteer Position Descriptions
Volunteer Managers who successfully utilize today's volunteers understand the changing trends and dynamics impacting prospective volunteers. They also challenge their organizations to adapt their volunteer opportunities to meet the needs and offerings of these volunteers.
Developing meaningful work for volunteers and writing position descriptions are critical components of volunteer management. Prospective volunteers have thousands of ways they can spend their time so your opportunities need to be compelling and thoughtful.
This workshop will help you understand the significance of volunteer position design and provide participants with tools and methods to enhance their efforts in identifying and designing creative and effective roles for volunteers.
